Warmth

Warmth follows the heartwarming (literally) story of orphaned Clara and an abandoned robot. The two characters find family through each other, proving that love and care will keep anyone warm in the darkest of times. Using both hand-drawn and built characters, director Erik Boismier created this story entirely through movement and music as the characters never utter a word of dialogue. Instead, their actions tell the story, the music working in tandem to tug on audience heartstrings as the two heroes brave the cold world around them.

Boismier created this film to experiment testing how hand-drawn and built characters can interact with each other. The animation styles are combined well to create this feel-good short film that is sure to make anyone’s heart warm.
