Where Is My Friend?

Length: 3 M 28 S

Director: Emilio Muniz Martinez, Tian Chen, & Nick Nason

Where Is My Friend? was originally created for a Super8 film festival. The entire film had to be edited in camera meaning there was no post production editing allowed. Filmmakers had to extensively plan their in and out points for every shot in order to create the perfect end product. Aside from music and an opening slate, everything had to be created on set.

Thankfully the directors of Where Is My Friend? were able to rise to the occasion! Although there is no dialogue and no editing, the film manages to successfully have a strong visual perspective and narrative style. Feeling almost like an old home movie, the end result is a fun journey that proves any good film just needs to be based in a good idea. Everything else is just the icing on top of an already great cake.
