This awkward, over-the-top comedy follows a young man as he attempts to earn money, infiltrate a cult, and overcome crippling anxiety. From that description alone we hope we’ve made it clear that Special Actors is anything but boring. Everything from the story to the camerawork screams “independent cinema” and we are here for it.
