Created as a third year film for Emily Carr University, Twins is a 2D animated short film about the development of twins and their relationship to their mother. All elements were created as real watercolour pieces and were scanned and animated with Adobe After Effects and Premiere. The result is a visually stunning short film with creative imagery and an incredibly unique style.
Director Laurel Thomson (a featured artist of our first ECLECTIC Fest!) found inspiration for this film based on her own close relationship with her sister. For anyone who enjoys unique animation and simplistic yet heartfelt stories, Twins is the perfect film!
