Premiering at Cinequest in 2016, The Paranoid Cat is a fun short film with a story familiar to cat owners everywhere. When a fluffy cat is left at home, he goes berserk and begins attacking absolutely everything in sight! While we may never know what goes through a cat’s mind, this film creates a playful idea of what cats may be thinking about when left alone to their own devices.
The Paranoid Cat was originally created for Barco Escape format, using a unique three-screen exhibition medium when originally screened. This version has been condensed for one screen and easy home viewing. This film was also created after director Wahid Reza won a pitch contest organized by Cinequest Film Festival. This film and its respective accomplishments are incredibly impressive — we hope that everyone out there, cat lover or not, enjoys this film as much as we did.
